Position Summary
Pro Powder and Paint is seeking an experienced and motivated Sandblast Operator to support the preparation of high‑quality finished products. This position plays a critical role in surface preparation prior to painting and coating. The ideal candidate has strong sandblasting skills and can produce consistent, quality results independently from day one.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate sandblasting equipment to prepare surfaces for painting, powder coating, or other treatments
- Set up, adjust, and operate blast booths and related equipment
- Remove dirt, paint, grease, rust, and other surface contaminants
- Load and unload blast cabinets safely and efficiently
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any issues to management
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job orders
- Conduct quality checks to ensure surfaces meet required specifications
- Maintain accurate production records, including materials used and process notes
- Assist with painting or coating operations as needed
- Apply and remove non‑skid materials when required
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of sandblasting experience
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protective equipment
- Experience working with or removing heavy metals (preferred)
- Familiarity with power tools and industrial equipment
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
